Today I was focusing on trying to get a handle on texturing. I attempted glass today by creating a set of salt and pepper shakers. After modeling the bottles I started playing around with the type of glass needed to make them look more realistic. Using a mai_material through mental ray I was able to achieve the look I was going for. Then I modeled out the salt and pepper for the bottles for the last touch. I had lots of fun creating these and my hope is to tackle the rest of my scene and achieve the realism that I got with these.
